# Introduction

> What Iconic Product Proof Manager does and who it's for

Iconic Product Proof Manager turns order fulfillment into a conversation. Instead of chasing customization details over email, you chat with the customer directly on their order, attach a proof (an image or PDF of the finished design), and let them approve or reject it right from your store — all before you ship.

It's built for stores that sell **made-to-order, personalized, or custom products** — engravings, apparel prints, cakes, signage, portraits, and anything else that needs a customer sign-off before production.

## How it works

1. **Sync orders** — the app pulls new (and optionally historical) Shopify orders into a dashboard, filtered by all orders, specific products, or order tags.
2. **Chat per order** — every synced order gets its own message thread. You can message the customer, and the customer can reply from a widget on your storefront.
3. **Share a proof** — attach an image or PDF proof to the conversation.
4. **Get an approval** — the customer approves or rejects the proof from the same widget. You track this as a **Customer status**, independent of your own **Merchant status**.
5. **Invoice and fulfill** — optionally send an invoice link for extra customization charges, then fulfill the order once it's approved.
